Musashi has put essential nutrients zinc, magnesium, manganese and B6 together in one easy to take formula.
Research conducted in the over 8 weeks on athletes has shown that Magnesium, Zinc Aspartate and Vitamin B6 combinations have led to increases in total testosterone levels of 32.4 %, and free testosterone levels of 33.5 %. Serum IGF-1 levels increased by 3.6 %. Maximal quadricep strength measures increased by 11.6 % in one measure and by 18.2 % in another.
Magnesium is essential for the health of the muscle tissue, as it ensures proper contraction and the transport of nutrients across the membranes.
Magnesium improves athletic performance via ATP production. It facilitates the conversion of endogenous glucose blood sugar into energy. Magnesium’s role in energy production stems from its participation as a co-factor for almost all of the enzymes involved in the production of ATP.
Magnesium and Potassium Aspartate increases the capacity for prolonged exercise by up to 50 % and alleviates fatigue. Supplemental magnesium counteracts the accelerated excretion of magnesium that occurs in the people who engage in endurance exercise.
Forty endurance runners between the ages of 22-26 who ran an average of 15 km per day were studied over a period of a year. It was concluded that significant losses of magnesium occurred in the presence of negative magnesium balance and magnesium deficiency.
Patients who had chronic fatigue were treated with magnesium aspartate for 6 weeks & claimed to have improved energy levels, a better emotional state, and less pain.
People who engage in endurance exercise are at greater risk of zinc deficiency.
Cyclists were studied for two months, & it was found that especially those who trained without rest days experienced rapid zinc depletion5. Zinc supplements can increase stamina and strength.
Manganese enhances production of energy, alleviates fatigue, improves muscular coordination and reflexes and the sense of balance. It speeds up bone and cartilage repair. Do we need to justify its importance to athletes any further?
Vitamin B6 is essential for energy metabolism, utilisation of glucose, and is required for repairing joint synovial membranes.
